Donors give to nonprofits, work at companies, and attend schools — and each of those organizations has its own page in DonorAtlas. A nonprofit's page shows its donors, board, and finances; a company's page shows its employees; a school's page shows its alumni.
Opening a page
There are two ways to open an organization's page:
- From search/autocomplete: start typing in the search bar and matching nonprofits, companies, and schools appear in the dropdown alongside donors. Click one to jump straight to its page.
- From a donor's profile: click an employer in their work history, a school in their education, or a nonprofit in their giving history.
Not all companies, schools, and nonprofits are linked to a page from a donor profile. If one isn't clickable, it means we don't have a page for it.
Nonprofit pages
One section the walkthrough doesn't cover is Grants. For nonprofits that give money away, this section lists the grants they've made year by year, with totals and charts of trends and recipients. If a recipient has its own DonorAtlas page, it's linked right there.
Company pages
For company profiles, the header shows the company's name, logo, location, industry, website, and LinkedIn. The main card is Employees: the people in DonorAtlas who work at that company, each linked to their full profile.
If a company has more employees than the card shows, click Search all employees to run a search over all of them, which you can narrow down with any other criteria.
School pages
For school pages, the header shows the school's name, location, website, social links, and a short description. If the school is part of a larger system, the parent organization is linked in the header.
The main card is Alumni: the people in DonorAtlas who attended the school, each linked to their full profile. Click Search all alumni to run a search over all of them.
